Lowest under mount brackets for seats???

First off I have scoured this forum to find any information so here is my story.

I wanted to get better seats for taking my Z to the track. After every session my *** would be sore because I am trying to hold myself in place around the corners.

One issue is I am not a small guy. I am 6'1". I first went with the Corbeau Forza Sport Bucket seats and under mount Corbeau brackets. The issue was I didn't fit well in the seat and with helmet I had to scrunch down to track.

I sold those seats and bought the A4. With these you can't side mount but they recline plus they will shave the base 1". So I had them shave the bases to get as much room as I can. Now if I remember right their site had the Forza Sports with a base height of 3" and the base height of the A4 is 3.5" minus the 1" shaving I was hoping to get at least .5" height difference so I wouldn't hit my head.

Well didn't work.

So for the love of God does anyone know what the lowest brackets are for under mount seats. Any help is much appreciated!

from my experience the only true way to gain headspace is a full bucket, side mount, angled correctly

but i'm also happy to hear anyone with an alternative solution

some of the Bride Low-maxs might have thinner lower sections, but they aren't really made for american sized bodies

IMHO you're never going to get the head room you want with an undermount.

The right answer is a mount/rail combo along the lines of the Bride FO rails where the mount and sliders are all one unit and then pair that with side mounts and a low seat.

I'm 6'1" and 215 lbs. I have a Sparco Evo US II mounted on Wedge Engineering bracket and Sparco side mounts. The seat is fixed, so no slider! I have plenty of head space, well enough that I don't have to scrunch. Another seat that works for us taller and wide but guys are Cobra seats. I sat in one at a dealer in Huntington Beach. They have a nice high back for taller individuals.

Thanks guys, My seats wont do side mounts and I don't want to sell these and try a third set. Was hoping there was a consensus on lowest under mount seat bracket. Maybe I can go look for some skinny rails. I don't know. There are lots of other brands but 200-300$ to see if they are any lower is rough. Just thought of an idea. If I can find some rails that are skinnier maybe?

if you want what you want, go to a fab shop and go custom. I doubt you're going to find what you want off the shelf for a bottom mount

Buddy Club and the Bride rails are the only ones I know of. You might call Wedge Engineering and see if they can make a bracket that your seat be fixed to without the rails. They are one the lowest ones out there.
