Glove box won't close!
 

My glove box isn't staying closed I think the latch just needs replaced but I have no idea how to do that. I called the Nissan stealership today and asked if I could get a glove box latch replaced and they said they don't have latches they only sold glove boxes but he told me it would cost $500 I told him that seems insane and I checked online and found a glove box for $50. Should I just go ahead and buy another glove box or is there a way to fix a broken latch or replace it

Did you check to see if anything fell in between the glove box itself and the glove box behind it? Or maybe the latch just needs adjusting instead of replacing.

Yeah there isn't anything hiding behind it. It just doesn't close how it should close. The latches may need some adjusting because somehow now my dad messed around with it and somehow got the glove box to close today but I bet once I open it again it'll be a pain to close again. I might just play around with it tonight and see what's up with the latches
