"ANOTHER" Window Problem

So I had the issue of window motors not going up after being in the down position. Panicked before using google to do my homework and started troubleshooting to see if I might have had a bad window motor or master switch. Did my homework performed the reset and now the BCM apparently thinks my fu@king driver side window up position is "down" and down is "up". Tried playing around with the resets to get it adjusted, tried resetting the battery, used uprev to cycle my window motors "down" on the BCM and only the passenger window goes down(because it's apparently programmed backwards on the driver side now.) now it's just my luck that the passenger window will do absolutely NOTHING after having uprev run the window down. to cut to the chase here is there any way to reset the BCM or is this thing just fuqed beyond belief.

Edit: fixed passenger window. Bumped the window lock on the master board. Fml I'm such a dumb@ss. Just annoyed and over looking obvious stuff at this point...

Hey! I forgot all about our Wapakoneta brother. I used to have some family there (actually may still be some, just too many cousins away to keep track.)

And BTW, I've NEVER hit the passenger window lock and been confused. (aherm). ;)

Have you tried to do the long reset? Door closed. Power button on. Push window button to the down position avoiding "auto". Hold for about 20 seconds. Then pull to the up position, again avoiding "auto". Hold in the up position for another 20 seconds.

For some reason, any time I've taken the door panels off, I've had to do this long reset. I panicked the first time too. Partly because there was a storm coming and both windows were all the way down.

Hope this helps.

HEY MANNNN in my defense I had the top of the switch off of the assembly so that I could separate the mirror controls from the door locks/windows. much harder to tell by looking at a recessed stub than an entire button XD

anyway ILL HAVE YOU KNOW... I got it!:icon17:

rebuilt the driver side window motor plugged it back in and it magically appeased the BCM gods :rofl2:

to answer your question though semty; yes, I had performed the long reset procedure. I actually found it by stumbling across a long dead thread of you helping another lad with the issue. Nice to see some familiar faces still around here XD. Sorry ive had a rough last year or so. been finding it hard to dig up the motivation to work on the "project" at times.
Don't worry about ol wapak. it like the rest of ohio is getting invaded by narcotics :icon14:

Just messing with you.
A couple of weeks ago I was freaking out because my doors kept unlocking while I was driving. Finally realized that the key fob in my pocket got wedged in between the seat and the console.

Same here on the drug front. Massive number of overdoses. Had 52 ODs in 32 hours in February.

When I read Wapak, I could here my mom's voice saying it. :(
