Help !!! My ebrake and tc are acting up

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem or has any idea of what it could be my ebrake light comes on by itself mainly when I step on it and the tc or abs alert comes on and stays on until I fully turn the car off again also my car is a 2013 with 46k if it helps thanks in advance

Have you checked the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir?

The emergency brake light coming on is probably low brake fluid like POS VETT said. The traction control & ABS light is something else entirely, especially since it stays on. Take the car to a trusted mechanic, someone that has a really good scanner to read the system. You will probably find you have a wheel bearing that is going bad, probably the front one (that's what went bad on mine). The good news is that you can do it yourself, if you are so inclined. The bearing is in an assembly that is removed with 4 bolts from the spindle (after removing the caliper, bracket and rotor). The part is available from Amazon for $96 & free shipping (it's a Beck-Arnley part). Once you find out what's going on, PM me and I'll give you the part numbers (Beck-Arnley for the front, Timken for the back). Good luck.

BTW, if you are not mechanically inclined, the dealer cost to fix mine was $500. I thought it was a press on bearing, so I had the dealer do it. I wasn't real pleased when I found out it was an assembly I could have done myself.... :owned:

Check your fluid level before the bearing, a lot of reading states that the brake light and stability light happen on low brake fluid instances

FWIW, I've had both the e-brake light and the TC slip light come on in response to a low brake fluid level. I've had them come on separate and/or together at different times. Sometimes they turn off by themselves, sometimes they stay on until I turn the car off. Always been able to fix it by topping off the brake fluid reservoir to the max line.

That was the first thing I tried, along with clearing the ECU. The cheap *** scanner I had wouldn't read anything other than OBDII codes, so I had to take it to the dealer. That's when I found out one of the front wheel bearings had failed. Now it could have had something to do with my encounter with the were-possum and sliding off road..... :ugh2: but it is still a possible problem that the OP needs to look at, once he tops off the brake fluid. :tiphat:
