Gurney Flap for 2015+ Nismo wing

I've never seen this posted here, but apparently Nismo Japan makes this optional gurney flap for the factory wing on 2015+ Nismos:

http://www.nismo.co.jp/products/nism...TS/img/p21.jpg

Taken from Nismo 2015 Parts catalog

Price? 138,000 yen for the wing and an additional 10,000 yen for an "attachment kit"

Look Nismo Japan . . . ur cool and all, do great work, but over $1000 USD for that tiny *** addition is ridonkulous.

Not looking to get one or anything, just digging around and came across this.

Kinda surprised Carbon Signal hasn't come up with an add-on like this (bigger) for the 2015+ Nismo.

Enjoy?

EDIT: Can't edit the typo in the title, can a mod help?

I have been thinking of something like this, but at $1000, I will keep looking!

$5 Home Depot mod

Surprised no one made one for the 09-14 Nismo. I've been looking at the GTR and Integra versions to see if either of them would fit.

You could tell that there is something that was coming on the rear deck. It looks like you can take the spoiler apart.

From what you have seen so far, what do you think? Do you think they will fit or not?

Its a non moving, one-piece part. The price is ludicrous. Even if the thing were made of the rarest carbon fiber, who would buy it?

mults 10-19-2016 02:33 PM

More like a "gimmemoney" flap :)

TreeSemdyZee 10-19-2016 06:52 PM

For that money, Dan Gurney better come install it.

I think they need to produce a gurney flap for the gurney flap.:rofl2:

I'm pretty sure the R32 wouldn't fit without a lot of trimming as the GTR's spoiler has a post in the middle where ours does not. In addition to that, their spoiler is a bit more squared off compared to ours (this is comparing my car to a friends).

The DC2 looks to be an easier fit, so I ordered a cheap ABS one from ebay that I'm hoping won't require too much work when it arrives. I plan to sell it and purchase a CF one if the fitment isn't too far off.

Not really a fan of that one...

Northstyle, lets us know how it works out and fits. Also post up some pictures when you test it out.

Will do. Hopefully it should be here late this week or sometime next week depending on what service the company used to ship it.
