I hope he has just been away on vacation, or there is some type other issue. I will tentatively count myself out of the buy.

*EDIT*
Indeed 370Ztune was away on vacation and I have just received a very professional, detailed reply addressing all of my issues and concerns. Moving forward I would have to say I have complete faith that any transaction with 370ZTune would end up a positive experience and I am thoroughly impressed in the manner in with which my questions were dealt with.

Didn't mean to jump the gun on trying to neg 370ztune, I suppose I've just dealt with such shitty customer service in the last couple of weeks over a myriad of issues with other companies that I was expecting the worst.

Let the man have his Thanksgiving break! :rofl2:

Hey Guys I want to remind you that the more people we get in on this the better discount that can be offered! Trust me if you like the kit and want in on the best pricing that this kit will EVER be offered at let me know. We have plenty of time as the kits dont get released until FEB.

I urge you guys to get in on this deal. 370zTune/Bulletproof automotives owner is in Japan this week to talk directly to amuse so NOW is the time to act! Even if your pending on price point let me know I will put a note next to your name.

Thanks everyone so far who has joined in on this GB and hopefully we can get quite a few more :D

Is there a chop of the back of the kit in black?

I'm very interested and depending on the answers to the questions I have asked I would be in for Full Kit - Wing.

Shipping quote to B.C. was $120 to $140. To paint it here in the west, $470 for the rear only. If you have the carbon fibre color, it's very difficult to match because of the suspended silver flake particles in the pigment and the paint shop may have to blend it into the fender panels.

Hmm carbon fibre colour? Did you mean the Magnetic Black?
Thanks for the shipping info, any idea what the customs would run? That could get very expensive..

Ztoon 12-01-2009 11:10 PM

Oops, meant carbon silver, also known as platinum silver south of us.
Shipping price included duty, customs, etc., according to 370ztune

bullitt5897 12-02-2009 10:44 AM

Ztoon do you want in on this?

Snakes709 12-03-2009 12:19 AM

how much would it cost to ship the whole kit to Edmonton Alberta, Canada, T5X 5J6...might order this kit. Also its hard to tell by the pictures but is the 3rd brake light visable with the wing? Kinda looks like the wing is blocking the light. Or does the kit come with a new light.

bullitt5897 12-03-2009 12:33 AM

the wing comes with a new light :D and one of the other Canadian members said something to the effect that shipping to canada was around $140 or so. However, that is a question Hunter (370zTune) will have to answer directly.

Remember if you join the group buy it will be much less than trying to buy the kit outside of this GB!!! Hunter is already giving preorders 10% off and we are looking for "hopefully" 20% or more off MSRP... that is our hopes but it is up to Amuse how much we get off just remember it will be atleast 10% ;)

let me know if you want on the list...

Mike

Snakes709 12-03-2009 04:02 PM

I would love to get it now since i have damage to my Z already :( But i dont have $5k to spend on the car right now, i will in April though because im heading on a 3 month Operation for the Winter Olympics with the military so im getting some extra money, plus i wont be spending money on stuff there.

Maybe if i can convince the gf i can raise the limit on the credit card...lol. But i yea, this is something i want...got 2 small cracks in the front bumper, dent and scratch on my driver door and 2 dents on my driver side quarter panel....3 seprate occasions

bullitt5897 12-03-2009 04:08 PM

Snakes these wont be ready until Feb... and I think BP auto could work something out with you... like down payment now and when you get back pay for the rest. Also this kit will be closer to $4k or less... take that into consideration. let me know if you want on the list :D

Ztoon 12-03-2009 04:41 PM

I'm quoting Hunter, and that was to western Canada, which was an approximate price,...120-140 range, for the rear pc. only.
Additional cost would be 6% duty, + g.s.t., p.s.t..

Snakes709 12-03-2009 06:57 PM

so who do i talk to about this. Because if its not aval. until feb and i can work something out ill defently do it

I'd like the whole kit, but we're all hills in this area, and it'd be an obstacle course trying to keep the side skirts and nose intact. Put me down for the rear, price pending, and I'll look around for some sides that will give me a bit more clearance, maybe Central 20. Or if anyone has any ideas?

Snakes709 12-03-2009 07:32 PM

bullit do you have a contact number for someone i can talk to about the kit? Put me on as full kit...although im not a fan of the wing, i would rather have the nismo wing.

PM 370ZTUNE, he answered all of my questions and is the contact point for questions regarding the Amuse Kit.

bullitt5897 12-03-2009 08:52 PM

213.745.6954 ask for hunter ;)

Snakes709 12-03-2009 09:58 PM

thanks. Would have liked this money to go towards a TT kit but oh well..lol.

bullitt5897 12-06-2009 03:10 PM

Thanks Ztoon ur on the list now :) anyone else?

SeeyaBud86 12-07-2009 03:36 PM

I'm very interested in this kit. I want the rear and the wing for sure, but what im curious about it how the car would look with maybe the nismo front or s-tune front. I think it would look really good, i like the fangs =P

someone possibly do a photoshop?

vater 12-07-2009 06:03 PM

is this a fiberglass kit? for the price I hope it's urethane

bullitt5897 12-07-2009 06:20 PM

The kit is FRP which is a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic... the center section of the wing is CF...

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe urethane warps over time which is why a majority of JDM companies choose not to use urethane.

The way I look at it, why pay for an authentic product only to have it share the same fitment issues as a replica product after a few years?

Just my .02

That's interesting. I haven't heard of urethane doing that, but it makes sense as I haven't seen anything made out of urethane coming out of Japen.

370Ztune 12-08-2009 07:55 PM

PM's Replied; just a heads up, I received word from Ben (he's in Japan right now) regarding Amuse possibilities. Nothing is finalized yet but I just wanted to let all of you know that we are still working hard for you.

Once final group buy pricing has been established with Amuse, we will be posting the info like there is no tomorrow.

-Hunter

bullitt5897 12-08-2009 08:06 PM

Thanks for the email earlier hunter! It has been one hectic day in my world! I am excited and cant wait to see the final pricing :D

Wow I think I might want in, I'll fire a PM for a shipped price to 370ztune.

CCCLXXZ 12-11-2009 01:08 AM

IMO the words Amuse and Group Buy are contradicting to say the least.

I would be very surprised if Amuse themselves are made aware of the fact...

I can't wait to see more pics, tell Ben to shoot some traditional photos while he is there.

How does the wing look in real life??? I like it in every angle but the rear, it kinda looks long and does not quite fit with the lines of the rear! but im sure it looks better in real life! It would look nice if it looked more like the GT2 wing! http://www.porsche.com/usa/models/911/911-gt2/gallery/
