Seibon VsII Style hood fiberglass

I saw this hood on the site but the only option I can find is a carbon fiber version, do they make a fiberglass version? If not is the one in this picture painted carbon fiber, its hard to tell but it doesnt look like it. Thanks.

Seibon is "Carbon Fiber' in that the hoods are typically just wrapped in CF, does not save weight typically but does provide good solid venting. Now if you see dry carbon from Seibon then this is truly light weight purely CF material.

And yes, that photo is just painted.

"Carbon Fiber" indeed, thanks for the informative response.

That's not completely true, I don't think. They're heavy because they're wet-layup carbon. They don't vacuum out as much resin as possible which causes excess weight. But they are still considered full carbon fiber, if I recall correctly. Which is different than a wrap.

its not a wrap as in sticker hes just sayin the first layer is frp then carbon on top

not sure if seibon does this though

I am using the term in that the hood is not purely CF, hence the "Carbon Fiber" comment I made. Seibon is known to use CF as a layer when producing its hoods & other parts, typically the outer layer for show, but I view it is more of a "wrap" since it is just wrapping around FRP or another product.

I had no idea it was wrapped around another substrate. That's kind of disappointing =\

Here is the underside of my Seibon CF hood, the bolts are holding on the rain protectors, I have a TS style for reference.
