Introducing the New RJ MFG Strut Tower Brace!

Good afternoon,

We here at RJ MFG would like to introduce to the community our newest innovation "the world's first fully adjustable strut tower brace for the 370z!". No where in the market is there a truly affordable strut tower brace outside of the OEM or Nismo units. When we created our GTR conversion manifold we were presented with an obstacle that meant losing the factory strut tower brace. After we introduced that product to the market we had significant requests to make a replacement strut brace that was not only affordable but also functional. So with that in mind we have spent weeks going over multiple designs and features. What we came up with is a strut brace that uses the balance of strong yet lightweight materials. Below is the preliminary drawings of the unit.

FAQ:

1. What is the Price?
- Pricing has yet to be determined but will be once we have finalized the manufacturing costs. However, with that said we are targeting a $500-$600 range depending on options

2. What Material is it made out of? and how much does it weigh?
- We are utilizing a combination of materials from Chromoly Steel to Billet aluminum and stainless hardware. As far as weight is concerned we hope to be lighter than stock.

3. What will it fit?
- The design currently allows for all the current aftermarket manifolds on the market. This also includes the OEM manifold as well. In addition to the VQ specific manifolds we have designed this unit to also clear the GTR conversion with a stock GTR manifold. We will be testing the Greddy GTR manifold in the coming weeks since this is the next affordable GTR manifold. So as of right now there should be no limitations on manifolds with this strut brace.

4. What are the available options?
- Well we will be weighing the options but at this point we will be looking at the following: Powdercoating, anodizing, and material upgrades such as titanium.

5. When will it be ready?
- We fully expect to have production units in the next 30-60 days.

I may do mine with Titanium accents...

Any FEA done on stiffness compared to the OEM unit? Curious to know the difference.

But either way, the Ti sounds so awesome for dress-up alone.

Ok, so I'm going to be the newb and raise my hand for a question here because, simply, I don't know the answer and I like to learn new things. Why would the strut tower brace need to be adjustable?

i mean dere's nothing wrong with the factory one besides maybe da weight. should make a fullarsed version and use titanium.

i dont get why id want to swap mine out for a minor benefit in weight.

This brace isn't necessarily meant to replace the OEM one on regular applications. Its being made so that people with the RJM GTR conversion manifold can have a strut tower bar because the OEM bar doesn't fit with the conversion.

K carry on!

It is also stronger and lighter than the OEM unit based off of initial digital solid works testing

Stiffen, if needed a minute change in chassis movement.

The strut bar on Z33 is adjustable from factory. I know that when I removed and re-installed it, it was loose and extending it got it to be snug.

May be due to the unleveled surface but none the less it's a welcomed feature.
