Headlight plastic cover removal

I did try to locate here how to remove the plastic lens on the headlights ,no luck finding that. I want to clean them up since they appear to be yellowing from the inside. Thanks fellas!

Remove them from the car, bake them in your oven and pry apart while the sealant is still soft. Google 'baking headlights'.

Thanks, but it looks like I will be investing in new ones in the future.too much can go wrong doing that X-D

Some people have had no issues doing it. Scares me since I don't want to crack or scratch anything.

It seems unusual that they clouded up / yellowed so quickly.

In case you haven't found it already, 370z repair and service manuals can be downloaded here.

That'll give you a full idea of what's involved.

Yeah I'd love to open mine up and make a few changes inside the housings, but as much as I'm willing and able to tackle pretty much anything on the car like that, I just can't bring myself to remove my uber expensive headlights and throw them in the oven and hope they seal up well afterwards :)
