I broke a couple of strap wrenches then said **** it :icon17:

Wrap a rag around the knob a couple of times. Then put a pipe wrench on it. Mine came off with out a scratch. Turned around and sold it to member here that ripped his up. :tup:

Didn't quite care for mine lolol. Pissed me off how they decided to use loctite so I said "f**k this shift knob" hahaha

I've had two 370z's and I tore up both shift knobs.

I did that and it still marred it. Was on there unbelievably tight

curious if the dealers have special procedures to remove it without damaging it with all the trans removal for the csc?
