I want to relocate my front plate and be rid of the screw holes done to the front facia by the dealer when they installed the original plate holder... the dealer said I couldn't just order the plastic insert and I would have to spend over $400 on a full bumper..

Companies buy in China and put a logo or brand name. That is how many American companies have grown thru larger profits. Part of American Greed. Most of the stuff you buy "branded" is also made in China. Look at the some of the name brand sunglasses - many of them are now Made in China (just an example). Same applies to clothing, accessories, toys, etcetera.
