Needing front bumper repainted, how much might dealer charge?

I have several rock chips, and scratches on my front bumper and the only right way to correct this is to take it off and get it bondo'ed and repainted. Im gonna take bumper off and take it to the dealer (as i think they will get the paint color matched perfectly) How much would you guess im looking at for a repair bill here? Like i said, im not bringing whole car... NO WAY! just gonna walk in with bumper and say HERE!

Why don't you ask the dealer in question?

I suppose you're not opposed to bringing your car in for an estimate.

$500-700

The dealer doesn't paint cars. They will outsource

Your cost will run from $300 to $600 a panel depending on the shop, paint used, color (tri coat vs your basic), and condition of your bumper- you said bondo work, so that'll add more. If you know anyone, you'll save more of course. Cash transactions save your more. Color matching is a pain so you have to find an experienced pro shop. Good luck.

Go to a body shop. They will have the expertise to get the paint right, at least the one I use here does. Dealerships sometimes have there own body shop and sometimes outsource the work. The Nissan dealership here has a body shop but it is independent of the dealership, they just share the same property/location. Their work is good but more expensive than the independent shop I use. $400-$600 would probably be in the ball park depending on how much prep work that needs to be done. Pearl colors usually cost more.

Dealers typically outsource paint and body repairs. Just find the best body shop in your area and you're set. A straight up spray, even with very minor repairs will cost less than $500.
