VIP car started emulating Tuners and now Tuners have started emulating VIP...

So i have contacted various internet aftermarket shops to see if they could provide us with Valenti contact information, and have been getting interesting reluctance to release that information.

I have asked them to maybe contact Valenti on our behalf. Quote:

Here is their contact page from their website: CONTACT | VALENTI JAPAN|
Here is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/Valenti-Japan-593044990833783/ By the way, which companies are you receiving replies from... especially the second so that I can specifically not deal with them. I understand they don't want to expand their competition, but they're not the only company who sells Valenti. That reply was just him/her being an douche... |
Here is another company, my friend Margo is rocking their g35 tail lights. They did a render for 370z but I wasn't a fan https://instagram.com/p/BFjk_oegz8o/

I asked him to talk to their R&D group to see if they are willing to do anything.

This looks promising.
Do you thing we can get 100 people? Quote:

Unfortunately not. It'll go like this: a lot of people will "say" they want them at first and put their name down on a list... then as time goes on (as creating these aren't a quick process), people will start dropping out and saying that they need to put their money elsewhere, or it's taking too long and how sorry they are for having to backout. It happens on pretty much every group buy and that's with much less numbers.
|
I feel that you may be correct.
Maybe we can get one of the forum sponsors to order 100 sets. I am sure they wil sell over time. Just a thought. |

I am still corresponding. We'll see what they say.

I think the numbers would be dependent on the proposed price point. We're starting to see a lot of retro fitting on the 370z tails done lately. If it were less expensove than having someone retro fit them we'd be more successful achieving the numbers needed. Or having a forum sponsor comit to an order and then sell them. However that is a lot of capital to have tied up on people's word or even deposits. This community doesn't have the best reputation of following through on deals.

Valenti lights for the FR86 are usually around $300.
