VIP car started emulating Tuners and now Tuners have started emulating VIP...

So i have contacted various internet aftermarket shops to see if they could provide us with Valenti contact information, and have been getting interesting reluctance to release that information.

I am sorry, but I am unable to give out that info.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi,

Yes, sure, I will put you in contact with Valenti so then you can compete with me in the Valenti markets...

I hope you understand.

I have asked them to maybe contact Valenti on our behalf.

I will ask my contact if they are planning on making anything for your platform and let him know that the demand is there.

Interesting piece of info.

Hi,

Valenti's communication is second to none, they answer my own emails one on 20... And they are a pain to deal with.

Thank you,

Here is their contact page from their website: CONTACT | VALENTI JAPAN|

Here is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/Valenti-Japan-593044990833783/

By the way, which companies are you receiving replies from... especially the second so that I can specifically not deal with them. I understand they don't want to expand their competition, but they're not the only company who sells Valenti. That reply was just him/her being an douche...

Here is another company, my friend Margo is rocking their g35 tail lights. They did a render for 370z but I wasn't a fan https://instagram.com/p/BFjk_oegz8o/

I got the same impression, but I will not say for now, as he might help us yet.

Not one of my photoshops, obviously.

I heard back from my rep, and they are not aware of any development of a tail light for your vehicle.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

I asked him to talk to their R&D group to see if they are willing to do anything.

I have passed the word on to my contact. Hopefully this will help get a light made for you platform. Otherwise you may want to look at another manufacturer for tail lights.

This looks promising.

Do you thing we can get 100 people?

Quote:

thanks for your email

we know the owner of Valenti quite well as we buy many from them , what sort of numbers are you looking at as i dont think they will do anything for less than 100 sets as the cost to make new lights from scratch will be quite high

let me know if this is possible and i will contact Valenti and see if this is possible or something in there interest . What might give you a chance is the larger US market for the 370

Michael

Unfortunately not. It'll go like this: a lot of people will "say" they want them at first and put their name down on a list... then as time goes on (as creating these aren't a quick process), people will start dropping out and saying that they need to put their money elsewhere, or it's taking too long and how sorry they are for having to backout. It happens on pretty much every group buy and that's with much less numbers.

I feel that you may be correct.

Maybe we can get one of the forum sponsors to order 100 sets. I am sure they wil sell over time. Just a thought.

easy solution, ask for down payment, maybe a poll to see how many people would be interested at first, but we'd need to know ball park price

cooltoy 11-30-2016 08:54 PM

I am still corresponding. We'll see what they say.

Xplicit97 11-30-2016 09:39 PM

I think the numbers would be dependent on the proposed price point. We're starting to see a lot of retro fitting on the 370z tails done lately. If it were less expensove than having someone retro fit them we'd be more successful achieving the numbers needed. Or having a forum sponsor comit to an order and then sell them. However that is a lot of capital to have tied up on people's word or even deposits. This community doesn't have the best reputation of following through on deals.

Valenti lights for the FR86 are usually around $300.
