Replacing a single side skirt panel?
 

When I bought my car, I was dumb and didn't realize until months later that one of the side bottom panels has a long deep scratch in it. I didn't notice for that long because it's so low to the ground and on the part where the panel curves down so it's actually hard to see unless you're looking at it from a distance.

Is there a way to buy a single side bottom panel that's stock? If so, where could I buy it and what do you think the cost to have it replaced would be? Unless it would cheaper to have the scratch fixed, though it is pretty deep.

It would be cheaper to have it fixed and repainted .....shouldn't take to long to do maybe 200 bucks to do it

i cant remember if those pieces come prepainted, but if not it might be just cheaper to get the one you have repaired as posted above.

or, if you hadnt noticed it for that long, i might suggest just touching it up. check with your dealer, they might have a mobile touchup place doing minor repairs on their used cars. those cost a fraction of a bodyshop repair.

It's hard to see how deep those scratches are, but I'd try to polish them out first

Does it seem like this kind of scratch is fixable myself? Like I said it's pretty deep. I was thinking about getting this kit here for $70 and fixing it myself since it is in an area that you never really see.

I'm even thinking about just using a touch up pen (starting with a primer paint pen then rubbing compound, adding paint with paint pen and finishing with clearcoat then rubbing compound) because of where it's located, but let me know if that's a bad idea :) it says on websites that they are used for small scratches so I'm wondering if it'll do the job or not.
