I wouldn't be too sure since on the Varis website both fenders are shown to come with 6 pieces
VARIS Z34 FAIRLADY Z ARISING - II |
I can't figure out why there are 2 part#s
One of them mentions the factory bumper? I imagine it's the 13+ OEM bumper since there is no mention of Nismo, and these jdm companies typically note nismo if it's for the nismo |
We will be the first to combo the Nismo front w/ the Varis fenders/skirts.
What you need to know and realize though, is the fenders WILL NOT comply w/ the Nismo front w/ the standard "add-on" piece that comes with the fenders. The nismo 09-14 front is the only front that contours inwards to the center vent vs contouring downwards continually. 2 options are to 1) have the add-on piece (fiberglass) modified or 2) for the cleanest look, have your Nismo front widened and keep the contour bodyline going right into the fender. This is the option we chose. Only debate we have currently is if we can pull off the Kamikaze wing with the OEM fender lines or not as it is extremely aggressive but very usable for TimeAttack. |
Please let me know if you guys have any questions regarding Varis product, happy to assist in anyway I can

has anyone tried to fit the varis fenders on 15+ nismos? very interested to see and what kind of modifications would need to be done to fit them
|
15+ Nismo fender is no different then any other 370Z model fender.

So has anyone fitted Varis Arising fenders with the OEM front bar + Varis Kouki front lip, instead of the arising II front bar?
I am having it done atm. Would like to see if anyone else has done this exact setup: https://s6.postimg.cc/vsq3dvaip/FB_I...6831067868.jpg https://s6.postimg.cc/4i4s5yfbl/FB_I...6831653361.jpg |
Getting my toes wet for some fenders. I've read poor fitment with Duraflex and another brand that escapes me at the moment.
What would the best fitting brand be? IE least amount of extra work to get properly aligned, holes in the correct place, etc. |
Varis will fit perfectly. That **** is as tight or tighter than stock
aimgain will fit perfect. Any of the JDM brands will be perfect, that's why they're so expensive Duraflex is guaranteed crap. Seibon, fly1 will be off by varying degrees. Carbon signal I heard is fine, but good luck ordering it, customer service is crap Honestly, what are you looking for? If u want wheel clearance, rolling and pulling is more cost effective, since varis only gets you 10 mm If you simply want something for appearance your best bet is to hope to contact Carbon signal or have a shop custom cut whatever you want there's no quick easy fix here AIMGAIN is extremely widebody so that's a whole other level |
shadow85 - instead of using the add-ons, I chose to actually widen the front for a clean transition. (not to mention, they don't make an add-on that will comply for the 09-14 Nismo front bodyline)

I'm actually shocked more people don't have INGS fenders, for around 1k, they're relatively cheap for a very high quality fender

Authentic JDM will have the best fitment compared to reps yes, but not perfect. I know of 2 examples, my Varis fenders and my friends Varis Arising II front bar. On my case, the genuine Varis fenders fit on nicely yes, but it left a wide gap between them and the hood of the car. The gap was very noticeable and had to be closed, which is what my body shop did by adding in, and now it looks correct. On my friends car, the Varis Arising II front bar edges came up short on one side, it left about half an inch off from the fenders to the front bar. Not very noticeable but it was there and my friend pointed it out to me. So no, you cannot say authentic is 100% perfect fitment. But they are very high in quality that's for sure. I am happy with my result :) https://i.postimg.cc/qMFqr01x/20181221-172814.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/J400St5h/20181223-160041.jpg |
Sorry to hear that. Every car is different, i suppose, and i have no idea what condition your car is in or the quality of your shop
My own experience was with a hood, and its perfect. Another car locally has the full kit minus the hood, perfect fit. Other people that i've seen/talked to, perfect fit. Local shop - reports perfect fit. |

and on the personal side - i think they're ugly. |
Agreed, Ings is hideous!
But another good Japanese one is Daytona Racing GTS fenders. Very clean and slick looking fender. But since it was the close to the price of the Varis 6pc, I opted for Varis. |
A new fender option to add to this thread.

Yep. Maybe better fit. Time will tell.

We know that. What OZ means, is that the bottom part is like the fly1 fender.

Are you not able to run fender liners with those?

Has anyone had experience with the EPA Style fenders? I found a nice honeycomb CF pair, and just wondering if anyone can speak to fitment and quality.

All of those vented fenders come from the same factory in china, just sold under different labels
Fitment is hit or miss, and good luck getting suppoort Did you notice “Epr Int” is in hong kong? |
