Carbon fiber element steering wheel
What's up guys, just installed my CF wheel I got from CF Element. Very pleased with his work!! Followed MrandMrs diy
http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...l-removal.html The only problem I had was trying not to strip the torx heads. I did use an impact to break them loose. One other thing is I tightened the horn plate or whatever you call it too tight the first time and my horn did not work. Back to step one....then I loosened up the two screws holding the horn bracket a little bit(maybe 1/2 turn on each). Put everything back together, started her up and boom, no unwanted lights coming on and the horn now works!! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...0ff3e89635.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...01f93f7fc3.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...27a266083f.jpg |

Thanks bro!! |
Just ordered one too. I got regular leather though. Maybe I should have got perforated
|
At first I went with suede but Tony sent me a few emails with different material. Per my taste, I liked the way perforated looked out of all the pics he sent

I really like it but (in my opinion) the thumb rests are too big. They look slightly like tumors

When I first saw it I thought the same. After driving around with it installed, the thumb grips feel really good. If u were thinking of getting one, I'm sure he could make one with smaller thumb grips. |
