Scraped sideskirt - options?

Hey guys, I was driving home late last night and as luck would have it, I clipped a curb and scrapred my sideskirt towards the rear wheel. The picture actually makes it look a little worse than it is, but right now it looks like my options are the following:

a) Touch up the spot as best I can

b) Buy a whole new side skirt

c) Just let it go

I'm extremely OCD, so this is really bothering me right now, lol. Any help is appreciated.

?
That picture is kind of small. It looks like your side skirt has a mirror finish?

Touch that thing up with a little touch-up paint from the dealer. You should be fine.

Call your dealer for them to recommend a reputable autobody shop, unless you know of one.

Even if you get a new sideskirt, short of it being aftermarket CF, you'll need to paint it anyway...which is where the autobody shop comes in...

Once you know how much it'll cost you to have it fixed, you can make a decision that you can live with.

just touch it up. :)

Check out the paint repair kits at Dr. ColorChip: Automotive Paint Chip Repair Systems

These are easy and blend really well IMHO

HTH!

Your level of OCD'ness will determine how you proceed....$10 in touch up or many hundreds in replacement and repainting.....Either way, others won't ever notice it..

Thanks for the advice so far guys, I guess I'll try and touch it up first and see how that looks. I think the stock sideskirts go for about $400 plus paint, so hopefully the touch up works ok, lol.

is it bad to where it needs replacing? Or does it just need repainting? A shop shouldnt charge too much to repaint it.

No, it's not horribly bad - it looks like the paint was just scraped off, I'm not even sure the actual structure was damaged.

get someone to repaint it. $200 at the most.

Yes, the scrape is before the wheels, so that's def an option then thanks. I gues this might also be a good excuse to order the s-tune skirts. Does anyone know how much they run / where they can be ordered?

I may be wrong, but I think they go for about $500 painted, which is a decent deal. Depending on the severity of the scrape you might have some luck with touch up paint though.
