Sparco Milano Leather Seat? or Factory leather seats
i'm think about buying 370z soon, and i'm in the middle of getting a base with sports or touring with sports....
if i ended up getting a base with sports, i will get Sparco Milano leather seats. but i'm not sure if its worth buying.... between factory touring seats, and Sparco leather seats, which one would you guys get? help me out fellas |
For the same price as two leather Sparco Milanos plus brackets, might as well go for the Touring and get everything else that comes along with it.

get the touring with sport... One of the reasons is that the touring comes with the seat heaters and your sparco milanos wont have that! its your choice though GL!

I've seen good things from a stock cloth seat wrapped in catskinz leather. I think it was a 97 GSR or something, whichever year they didn't come with leather.

Sparco's are not cheap, but I'm guessing you know this. They are excellent seats though. Quite a bit better than the stock seat in several areas. You will need to purchase Bride Brackets ($380/pr. from Mike at Doubledown) and do some adapting to the Sparcos to make it all work.....All in all you're looking at a pretty expensive proposition. If all you want is leather buy the sport/Touring or cover the stock cloth with katskins. If you want better seats look at the Sparcos or Brides..

Well...There's this. I didn't do a fullblown write-up cause Equinox had pretty much covered it with his Bride install. http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...ming-soon.html And actually, the boot looks pretty good in person! http://images52.fotki.com/v637/photo...MG_2167-vi.jpg |
hmm must be the angle of the first shot because on the last picture, the boot DOES looks good. How much does the seats run?

What are the advantages of something like the Sparco? Less weight, better ergonomics, a combo of the two?
I'm always a fan of both bonuses, but if I remember correctly, the owner's manual says that even adding seat covers can screw with the collision safety mechanisms. |

Race seats have less weight, but are a PITA to use as a street seat and usually have no adjustability for lumbar, rake, backrest angle etc.. If you're at all squeamish about losing your seat mounted side airbags you should pass on this.. |
