My evo-r CF pieces
Received in mail today. Fast international shipping.
I am surprised how thin and cheap the pieces feel giving how expensive they were. First time ordering CF products so maybe it is the norm of it. They are just covers but it feels like it could have cost $10 to make these pieces. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...pszhnqlrsr.jpg |
That's Evo-R for you... Just be glad you received anything at all.

That's the norm for CF pieces. I got my switch covers too and they fit great.

the gauge pieces dont really stick in place. any recommendations on tape? would 3m double side stick better?
|
Make sure you clean surface well. Usually don't stick is due to oil on top of OEM parts. If you already put on the oil is on the 3M already. I suggest put more 3M double side on them.
These carbon pieces are dry carbon pressed. Not vacummed or hand over lay made. That means better quality and lighter. You feel they are very thin and light, cuz they were hot pressured to thinnest as possible. Just like how they made F1 race car parts. |
Thx for the info. I got extra 3m tape and alcohol prep the area, it doesnt stick to the point where its super tight but enough to where im not worried about it coming off. Looks good im happy
