Need help wiring demon eyes
 

I just had my headlights done with black housing and red demon eyes. I have a remote to turn on and off the eyes with a receiver wired to the lights. The person who had them done for me told me to wire the lights straight from the battery, is this a good idea? I started writing it up today but before I could wire the headlights to the receiver that was already connected to the battery I could feel the receiver getting hot. Kinda worried my car will end up catching fire. Any help??? :confused:

You can wire it to the running lights and if you don't want them on all the time wire in an in line switch
