240Z Fairlady badge on passenger side dashboard?

What do you guys think about putting this badge on the passenger side dashboard? Though I wonder would the adhesive stick well... The badge is on the larger side at 11"x2"

I have the JDM Fairlady Z on the trunk already (replaced the 370Z).

:rofl2:

I would center it more, but that's just me.

Nice idea though a stronger adhesive may lead to marks or discoloration after a while

Try taping it with some transparent tape to see if you like it. If you do, then try putting it on with something stronger. Although i believe it would look good, id think about if its something that you would like to keep there in the long run, and if not, what would happen if you decide to take it off? :ugh2:

I say leave it out as it personally looks bad as thats not what the original badge is from.

s30 badging should stay on s30's :ugh2:

The idea

The idea seems OK to me but being as anal as I am I'd be worried what I'd be up against if I wanted to remove it one day. I'm not sure what you'd attach it with that wouldn't leave 'something' behind that couldn't be undone.
With that said, I wouldn't do it, but it's your car not mine.

Agreed. The only way that I would think that badging would work with the 370z is if you were doing a total retrofit of all of the Z emblems/trim and possibly doing a throwback scheme on your car to reference the old 240z. (Wooden steering wheel, shift knob, Datsun emblems, etc.)

It could be cool, but it would take a lot of effort and money. If you really want the Fairlady badging on the interior, I'd go with the newer style that meshes with the rest of the aesthetic.
