Need advice on brakes!

Had pulsation in brakes. Most noticeably at around 40MPH, but noticeable at any speed above 35MPH. Took it to the dealer for an inspection. Said right front hub bearing needed replacement, rotors front needed to be cut and front pads replaced (as the pads were unevenly worn due to the rotor).

My extended warranty is covering the hub bearing replacement. My service adviser said turning the front rotors and replacing the front pads would cost $370 (for my 370Z...lol) and that he would discount it for me to $330.

What do you guys think? Is this reasonable? I have done brakes myself in the past. It can be a PITA to do but for $330?? Are the pads super expensive or something? I have the sports package with the upgraded brakes so maybe this is why? Other shops I called stated that they would probably need to use the OEM pads anyway, so the only charge difference would be in the labor.

Changing pads on the sport package brakes is as easy as it comes. There's just 2 pins that slide out and the pads just pull straight out. It will take you longer to jack the car up and remove the wheels than to change the pads.

Very easy to do yourself. Save your $$$

I paid $470 for a full set of slotted rotors and $140 for a full set of ceramic brake pads.

No. That's not reasonable. Especially for their crap rotors and pads.

DIY is very simple.
