I think you are seeing normal alignment. The driver's side is aimed lower than the passenger side to minimize blinding oncoming traffic. The FSM should have specs and alignment procedure.

i do understand that.. but when u look at the pictures that is shooting to the side of the wall.. it is not a clean cut and look rather sloppy?

Did you touch the bulb by chance? Or is there anything on the outside of the headlamp? I know mine has some knicks and stuff, maybe there's a scratch or film or something?

I'll have to take a look at mine tonight. I've noticed the drivers side is lower, which annoys me, but I haven't changed it in three years so... yeah. :icon17:

no i didnt take the hid bulb out.. just the led on the side.. the driver side is suppose to b lower then passenger side so it doesnt beam the on coming traffic.. but its just the cut off on the driver side that is bothering me.. its not 1 straight line

i just took another look at my headlights from the outside.. the passenger side which is fine.. the projector looks more centered in the housing.. however.. on the driver side..the projector seems like it shifted a little to the left (looking from the front) and is not centered... anyone have any idea what happened and how i can fix this? again i never opened up my headlights before..

It still looks pretty normal to me. As long as I can see and other drivers aren't flashing their high-beams at me, I don't pay much attention to my headlights - what I see in the pics wouldn't bother me at all.

Can you find another Z to compare it to? If you notice any big differences, maybe I'm wrong and it does need to be adjusted/repaired.

Check the FSM for details on how the projector is supposed to be mounted and other details.

Agreed.

It might be that they are spaced a little bit close together? How is road visibility?

I think just check the alignment using FSM procedure (or take it to a shop) if you are concerned.

Otherwise, so long as you can see the road, and you aren't blinding oncoming traffic, it looks fine to me.
