Was going to order but last time i heard from CarbonSignal in January they said they were waiting on getting more screens. Where to to do the electrical hook up is my main concern. Tonythetiger where do you do your electrical connect?
|
that's the problem aside from their install, there is little more information on this. There is another install floating around in the forum but the screen looks crooked. It doesn't help hurahn, I think what some people are looking for is pictures, comments, and/or complaints from other members who acquired the kit.

Agree. That's what im looking for before ordering.

Can I get an update on my order. I already paid for the console but haven't heard a single thing.
|
Still waiting for an update on when to place my order.

unfortunately because of current workload of line of products we are discontinuing offering this item. We have few in stock in case someone is interested before we return those back to manufacturer.
We will advise anyone who purchased this in the past and has any issue please contact so we can get it corrected, all units were sold with one year warranty for peace of mind. |
So if after you stop making this will you still service the unit or would it be better to contact Zada Tech?

It's sad to see that with the kits that shipped, nobody posted install pics or details (other than an Instagram shot, and I'm not on that). I was waiting to see how this hooked to the factory screen and get some feedback, and what people did with the factory nav. system and the joystick...
I was also disappointed the screen layout is not user customizable; I have a 3" add-on ODB-based screen in my truck with six pages and each page is customizable for 2-large/4-small or 8-small gauges, which gauges are displayed, and what slot the gauges go in. So from a push-button interface it's totally customizable, with min/max alarms for every gauge. It does not have inputs for additional inputs or outputs, is LCD blue/black, auto-dimming (also programmable), and cost $80. That's certainly not to knock CarbonSignal's unit, I'd have bought it if it had those additional features which are very useful to me personally. What they offer is the best option available (soon to be unavailable), and it's unfortunate it will no longer be offered/upgraded. If you want one, now's the time to snag one! For boost gauges, this really is the way to go. |

This is totally different to OBDII apps as you can add external sensors in this so works like normal gauges. Customization is also there but we didn't want to start in size of gauges etc but as said offered. Warning and dimming along with rear camera input all there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Yours is also color, higher resolution, and integrates with the OEM screen, 3rd party screens, or multiple little screens--that's huge--in fact, so is the 7" screen! Lots of options that the little unit I'm using will never have.

CS, check your PMs.

Thank you for all we have now officially discontinued this product.
People can buy it directly from Zada Tech and can offer consoles to them to be purchased |
Zada Tech shipped me another controller on the 21st but have not received it yet.
