Yeah I am subscribed to it but I was wondering if someone did a comparison or has any data to prove the claims.

Looks like you are on top of it.

I don't remember if anyone did official testing but it seemed like the consensus was that the single vent closer to the front of the hood was best for actual performance.

Of course at the same time nothing wrong with the vents to the sides of the hood which will be good for dissipating heat if you are stuck in traffic.
