Front Bumper Damage - Advice or Tips Please

So this just happened yesterday. That's what I get for taking it out in the rain. I feel like crying. I'm not very knowledgeable with body repairs. Can this be fixed? If so what price range are we talking about? Thank you in advance for any help.

Also, if anyone knows of a good shop in the KC area let me know!

Something like that would require sanding, prime, sanding, paint. Couple hundred $$$$. I see no clear bra is installed so even if you did get it repaired you will end up with chips again.

It couldve been worse. I'd put a sticker on it and forget it's there. Like 1st stated, our front bumpers are prone to rock chips so just save that money aside for a full respray in a couple years.

ouch... sorry to see. as 1st posted 1st, that will require a body shop to fix.

but if that happened to my car, i would probably just straighten it and touch it up.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I was actually going to have it detailed this week and then have a clear bra applied after. I was waiting for the crappy weather to stop. :(

Clear Bra

Crappy weather is when you need the clear bar.
Actually, we are not suppose to let em get wet!
Really that's gonna need a real repair to make it disappear.
Best luck

I don't like clear bras but this makes me want to keep mine. Good luck and get it repaired.

clearbra wont protect you from that level of impact..

lgarcia 03-27-2015 08:55 PM

Exactly what I thought, a clear bra wouldn't have saved that big of an impact....

Fact of life owning a Z or car ownership for that matter. just get it fixed and be happy.

dkmura 03-29-2015 11:45 AM

A clear bra application would have made that damage even worse. The kind of impact would have gone right through the plastic and required the entire bumper to be rewrapped. OP should be grateful for small favors...
