Amuse Front Bumper

Trying to decide if i want to replace my front bumper with an Amuse front bumper......looking for pros and cons and any info on pricing. Let me know what u think!

Really nothing to it.

Pros: Looks so freaking nice.
Cons: Scrapes.

I would go with shineauto replica if you're willing to pay a little more. I have a aerojacket front bumper and I was quite disappointed with the fitment (around the fender area). The shop said there is only so much they can manipulate the fiberglass to make it fit flush.

What kind of prices for the replica vs the Amuse?

Amuse - 370 Vestito Aero Kit - Nengun Performance

Seems cheaper than i remember a few years ago

I will buy your front nismo bumper if that helps knowing you have a commited buyer. Matter of fact I will buy the skirts and rear also.

Amuse

Ok i see this bumper at several different prices in a wide range. I see Carid for $350 shipped....i see others at $950......and a 3rd at $1600 from Japan. Anyone know what the difference is when they all look the same ??? I don't want to get screwed so any help on where to get this at the best price would be awesome!!!

brucelidat 03-25-2015 07:41 PM

The difference is authentic vs replica

Amuse

Ok......... where to buy the real deal at the best price then?

brucelidat 03-25-2015 07:46 PM

No clue. I thought Nengun's price was pretty decent until I found out shipping was like $2300....

It's JDM. Shipping will always be the deal killer.

Some more cons:

Pita to do oil changes (ask the installer if they can make the opening larger so you don't have to take the bumper off everytime you change oil)

Will eventually make you get sides and rear to match the front; thus making you spend more of your hard earned money

amuse front and rear bumper is not plug and play option

i am not sure for the real amuse from japan, but for the one from aerojacket and Shine, Fitment is not guaranteed, and you have to drill hole by yourself

alignment take time (or money if you let bodyshop do it)

cons: cost 1100 (800+350$ paint if you do it on your own),cost time and effort.

pro: look freaking good, your car is unique because nobody have it :happydance:

i have to admit OEM nismo bumper is cool also, you can save your time and money by using OEM nismo bumper
