Keyfob range issue for door/hatch buttons

I have 3 keyfobs all with brand new batteries. I'm having a hard time getting any of the door buttons to work standing next to the car at the normal distance. I have to lean the pocket with the key fob almost up to the body of the car for it to sense it. Rear hatch same issue. I don't have any issues once inside the car. I haven't pulled the center console off for anything as I've read some people having this issue after interior work. I was however in the passenger footwell area and behind the glove box. Anybody experience this? My Z is going to the dealer tomorrow to get a new antenna that resides in the center console.

did it start doing this suddenly? working fine before?

did you recently get a new phone or something that transmits rf?

Started 3 weeks ago one day and that was it. Nope no kind of transmitters. Worked perfect before.

ive been going through the same issue for a year lol.. hatch, doors, etc. I have to place key in the fob for it to crank. Batteries have been replaced 3 times and still same issue on both fobs. I have a feeling an antenna is defective.

Had mine replaced under warranty. Got a little better, but back to same **** again. Showed the antenna in console was $800. I gotta take it back.

Do you guys have any aftermarket entertainment systems installed in the car or any electrical work done?

Probably a antenna has come loose, been broken, or has a kink in it. There's more than one antenna. Physical locations are in the FSM (link in sig).
