Scumbag Keys my car

2 Attachment(s)
feels like a piece of my heart has been torn, I went to the gym and this idiot thought that he was entitled to my parking spot that I was waiting for before him to get into. Long story short I come out and see these two scratches (with a key) on the trunk and one on the left fender. the size of the trunk scratch is about a middle finger and a quarter height and the fender scratch is barely an inch. What do you guys think the repair will cost? any outstanding shops in the LA area? these scratches are deep.
(btw I called him out on it as I remembered his car, he was lucky I controlled myself enough to not bash his face with my fist)

Your better than me, cause he would've got his chest stomped in!!!

Merv 03-05-2015 06:18 AM

yup, should of knocked his teeth down his throat for that one! Can I say that?!
Sorry to hear man. To me,that's totally a personal attack. It's a statement from them saying"what are you going to do about it". Hope you get her looking new again. :tiphat:

6MT-Z34 03-05-2015 07:33 AM

Damn...i don't know how i would have reacted if that had happened to me...what did he say to you when you confronted him about his PssY move?? will he be paying for it?

bullitt5897 03-05-2015 07:46 AM

I would have tracked down his car and waited for him.

RoshDawg 03-05-2015 08:41 AM

You know who it was? I would file a report and say you saw him if you don't want to confront him personally (which may be a good idea considering he may have roid rage!).

Austonian 03-05-2015 08:42 AM

none of that is worth a parking space.

zmanelite 03-05-2015 08:43 AM

It sucks balls but on the other hand how can you he sure it was him ?

DavidZ370 03-05-2015 09:12 AM

It was, he honked at me to signal that I should get out and give him the spot, after I left the gym. I went to school got out and saw the scratch I immediately knew it was that dude so I waited by his car for him to come out (drove back) , and I just went off on him. He was a 40-50 something year old man. He was totally calm about it as if he was ready for the questioning. I just didn't think him calling police on me was worth these 2 scratches, but he's lucky I didn't see him doing it.

DavidZ370 03-05-2015 09:20 AM

Lesson learned, I'll be taking my scooter to the gym from now:inoutroflpuke:

Same here.. My car is my child. I would've put him in the hospital.

Shotta 03-05-2015 09:48 AM

Did he admit keying it? Seems odd that someone would key a car but with such small key marks, why not run the whole side of the car or something significant. The other thing that seems odd, if he's in his 40's or 50's and doing that he's Extremely immature for his age, wow!

benji 03-05-2015 09:55 AM

this is why i dont park my Z in public areas man. hope you get it resolved easily. kudos for not beating his *** though.

It was in a public place, with cars running by. I'm thankful it's just those two mini scratches. I would have gave him a visit without a doubt if he got the doors too. I have his plate number. And no he was as calm as a cat like he was expecting me to question him. He just went on to deny it all calmly

DavidZ370 03-05-2015 10:02 AM

Pretty good interpretation lol http://youtu.be/VO48Vr4KIc8

janglez 03-05-2015 10:03 AM

damn... you must have ice running through your veins... i would've went ballistic... two things i cannot stand... liars and the disrespect of someone else's property

Well, think of it this way, these scratches will cost me 3-5 bills, me punching him in the face and going to jail can get me a criminal record. Trust me I did the math as I was talking to him

It could have also been a person who witnessed this situation make the most of it or perhaps setting that other guy up. Any cameras?

It's quite possible he did it but don't take the "calm as a cat" as an indication of guilt. For example I am always calm as a cat no matter how aggressively people approach me, doesn't mean I'm guilty of anything, Im just not an over excited combative motor mouth.

Zbrah 03-05-2015 10:44 AM

Violence is not the answer bro most likely it will not end well for you and I'm glad to hear you didn't stepped down to that level David.

A nail or two in his tires will do :stirthepot:

madmike23 03-05-2015 11:19 AM

I agree. Violence will only screw you even more. I would never approach him and just scratch up his car.

you made my day bro!

DOOMMONKEY777 03-05-2015 04:18 PM

Most of you will probably disagree with me, but this happened to me an unbelievable amount of times. I just think to my self WWJD?, **** it, its just a car.

jmayz 03-05-2015 04:38 PM

I've never had this happen to a car, but I'm kinda with doom, let it go. It's gonna cost you a lil bit of cash but getting pssed off doesn't accomplish much. If the other guy is that mad at your car you've already won the battle.

ajm216 03-05-2015 04:45 PM

You made the right move by not touching him.

I don't beef over parking spaces any more its just not worth it because of b.s. like this.

Good luck with the repair.

Zbrah 03-05-2015 05:00 PM

Try buffing it out first, doesn't look like it's too deep on the clear coat.

ScottOmatic 03-05-2015 08:00 PM

Why don't you ask the gym and see if they have security cameras in the parking lot?

PheeNoIVI 03-05-2015 09:53 PM

I'm always worried about this at the gym. I'm sorry to hear man. I always mentally prepare myself for confrontation when I'm at the gym. Earlier this week actually over the same thing, a spot, I thought some guys were going to do something to my car when I left it to workout. Luckily I came out and all was fine.

JC-Nismo 03-05-2015 10:31 PM

You guys are a bunch of great guys and I commend you for the non act of violence replies............. Me on the other hand.........Phuk that, I got bail money and would've stomped his *** out!!! I don't play those games when it comes to my cars, never have and never will. I'm from a neighborhood in Newark, NJ where that will get you killed and just grew up knowing not to mess with people's cars, but you made the right choice by being the bigger man, Kudos.

jmayz 03-06-2015 12:44 PM

I once worked in a call center and we all noticed how angry the average east coaster was lol. You guys are hard core over there! :)
