BUMP
i have rebooted the car, had my local Nissan dealership spend 4 hours looking for the problem, checking antennas ETC, had my audio system triple check their work as well to ensure there is not interference where that is concerned. the keys are now utterly useless, i have not gotten a response from either key in a month. i don't even attempt to use them now. Its slightly frustrating, owning a $25k sports car and the damn keys don't work. I wish it had just a normal fob and original key. |
also busted open the fob and cleaned, re positioned the contacts as well. futile. Nissan basically said "idk kid, never seen this before. we can sell you a new key but it might do the same thing"
also have 2032 batteries in it
I would get them to program on a key and see if it works, if it does THEN you will buy one, if not keep looking.
My thing is that if both the keys stopped working, why would a third ? its not like i have a dead fob, i have a dead car
Did the dealer say the room antennas were fine?
