I think there would be plenty of people willing to get in on a group buy for these guys, then of course someone will have to post a DIY for installing them for the rest of us...

thanks for the update. I found some fiberglass ones on ebay. maybe not be carbon fiber but it will work just paint it black hehe. but loves yours to... will be getting some stuff from you laters like the rear diffuser, and the two carbon pieces for the fangs and upper part. sinse your pretty good with making stuff for a good deal make some front lips and rear lips or those racing like diffusers like on the nsx, 350z, rx7, and so on. if it looks good you'll be my one stop shop evo R heheh

Damn! Thats a dope addition to the Z! I always hate taking away from cars and much rather add to them in subtle ways as this.

If you make nice looking lip kits for the front and rear also, I'll pick up all 3. Looks nice and clean.

:iagree:

Sorry due to holiday season, factory is all back up on these. I'll try to push them ASAP. Just want to make sure I have them ready to ship before anyone orders them. Happy holidays!

You still be able to get to your jacking points on the side of the car with these on right?
Any pics from underneath to see this and how far into the side rails it goes?

Looks like two pieces (three with the other side) or is this just "testing" for fitment?

Looks good so far, assuming it becomes one piece

Caravanshaka 05-27-2010 11:11 AM

although, looks like the outer piece is FB while the inner is CF. It might be meant to be 3 pieces

True, but I would prefer one piece (all FB or CF).
Looking good so far, just get it done so we can see full pictures.

Its a 3 pieces kit. Will make a extension center fan cover for those who don't have the fang cover. But for those who have fang cover already can just use the center lip section.

thoughts of making a kit that has the fang cover and center portion of the lip together in one piece? Would make it look a lot cleaner to not have seems between the 2 CF pieces.

Caravanshaka 05-27-2010 11:33 AM

just an observation. If you do it 3 pieces like this, with fiberglass on the sides, it's not going to flow that well to your side skirts for people that want to keep the carbon fiber exposed. I was actually expecting a full carbon fiber lip from you, that I could leave unpainted along with the sides for a nicely flowing lip kit.

370Z JT 05-27-2010 11:36 AM

Please make it one piece!

It will be full carbon.

any reason for not doing a 1 piece lip then? I understand it is probably a little easier to do 3 smaller pieces, but is it worth it?
