Did you get my PM?

Steven 10-23-2009 10:41 PM

Hi everyone,

During the install today we noticed a little issue with clearance with the rear sway bar. We tried everything to adjust to get more clearance. Im getting some "rattling" sounds on deceleration. The clearance on the left pipe on the rear sway bars is literally like 3-5 millimeters.. So with any vibrations its metal-on-metal rattling.

I have sent some pics to Lou (Amplified) and I am more that confident that this will get resolved professionally where everyone is satisfied.

I will keep you guys updated.

(By the way,,, It sounds great!) too bad for some fitment / Quality Control issues.) I hope Lou will send out an exchange or something in that ballpark.

Oh and yes it was professionally installed.

Invidia is aware of the problem I've told them about it since we had a local install with the same pipe problem. The weird part is that the first 5 we sold didn't have issues. I'll keep you and everyone else posted once i have an update from invidia:tup:

So in the meantime, I should leave it as it is?

or should I have it removed?

I don't mind either way as long as you can promise me that you will make it right no matter what in a timely manner.

Can you promise me that I wont be stuck with a "rattling" cat-back system from Invidia?

Thank you for the fast response Lou.. I know you always handle issues like this with the highest customer service!. :tiphat:

Promise? i promise i can do everything in power to have INVIDIA replace the pipe. What i can't promise is the time line. I don't have control over production at invidia. I will promise you that we will do what ever it takes to make it right:tup:

Anytime

In the mean time, keep them on and enjoy them. What we did for our local customer is add washers on the exhaust brackets to hang them slightly lower to add more clearance:tup:

If you need help on that, call me and i'll walk you step by step
