Z1 Motorsports: Metal HR/VHR Manifold 3 Bolt Gasket

Z1 Metal HR/VHR Manifold 3 Bolt Gasket $40

http://www.z1motorsports.com/g37_370...600&page=popup

New multilayered steel gaskets for the VQHR/VQVHR engine.
Often the RTV sealing method or composite gasket for the 3 bolt flange from the manifold to the test pipe/high flow cat doesn't hold up over time due to extreme exhaust temperatures and can fail leading to irritating exhaust leaks and potential Check Engine Lights.
To solve this potential problem Z1 has designed and produced our very own multilayer metal exhaust gasket for this application. This gasket is similar in construction to the manifold to turbo gaskets we have used for years on turbo applications. It has proven to be one of the strongest and most robust parts despite the extremely abusive conditions they are exposed to; these gaskets can be removed and reinstalled countless times without any problems. Replace your old, leaky exhaust gaskets with these reuseable gaskets that will fix that annoying exhust leak.

Sold as a set of 2.

great gaskets, I am running one of the prototypes on mine!

John, you might want to remind Spencer of that while my car is there.

Will do :)!

Curious to see how these hold up. How many miles have you put on the prototypes?

I only have one prototype. the other is on Russell's car. I had a leaky one and its all they had so we slapped it on. I have about 500 miles on it.

We have over 7,000 miles on ours with no problems, but we have been running our own similar constructed gaskets on turbo cars for 7 years now with absolutely no problems.

We have never seen one of these multilayer gaskets fail even on cars that have been missing a down pipe bolt or, where other gaskets would have failed these have never let us down.

Also just for reference we use this style on manifold to turbo exhaust housings, gaskets in this application are exposed to tremendous heat not to mention higher pressures than any "post turbo" or NA exhaust pressure should ever be so even though we don't have 100,000 miles on them yet I have a lot of faith in them.

Silence those exhaust leaks for good guys!

Have them on my car and they work beautifully paired with my Z1 TP's. They eliminated all the leaks that I had from the other gasket types I have tried.
