AAM Competition High Flow Cats
MSRP: $599.99
Special Until Feb 28th: $510.00

Utilizing a similar design to the highly efficient 350Z high flow catalysts, the new AAM Competiton High Flow Cats for 370Z fitment are now available.

Constructed out of robust 2.5” mandrel bent 16-gauge T-304 stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and reliability, the AAM Comp 2.5" High Flow Cats replace your vehicles restrictive factory catalytic converter with a new technology in high-flow converter element. The new metallic converter technology flows 40% more than most other cats currently on the market. This allows a significant gain in flow which makes the AAM Comp 2.5" High Flow Cats a perfect fit for both naturally aspirated and supercharged/turbocharged Nissan 370Z cars.

AAM Competition Test Pipes
MSRP: $279.99
Special Until Feb. 28th: $239.99

The highly anticipated AAM Spec 2.5" Test Pipes for the Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37 are finally here! After servicing and installing several of our competitors designs we decided to make a higher-quality test pipe that meets the demanding reliabilty expectations of our customers.

In addition to having poor fittment, many of the test-pipes on the market are constructed of thinner, lower grade stainless tubing. Not only are these units highly succeptable to fatigue and cracking on near stock 370Z's and G37's, some customers with supercharged and turbocharged 370Z's have torn apart the weld joints of these inferior test-pipes. Made out of 2.5" mandrel bent 16-gauge 304 stainless steel to ensure the hightest reliability and quality, the AAM Spec 2.5" Test Pipes replace your vehicles restrictive units to allow the higest possible exhaust flow.

Dyno testing has shown 8 to 10 RWHP gains on a near stock Nissan 370Z and 20+hp gains on a turbocharged Nissan 370Z! The AAM Spec 2.5" Test Pipes are for off-road use only and are a direct bolt-on replacement of the factory units.

Rob do you think the 3" dual would be fine with Long Tubes and a tune?

Rob@Altered 01-19-2010 09:00 AM

Could you elaborate a little bit? By "Long Tubes", do you mean the headers? Are you talking about power/performance, or fitment?

SOLISIMO 01-19-2010 01:40 PM

power/performance, and yes headers

Rob@Altered 01-19-2010 02:47 PM

With that set up, you'll get pretty good gains.

The 3" True Dual Exhaust is set up to maximize gains for F/I applications, but your application will see really good gains in the high end with a good tune from the Cobb AP.

If you're interested, shoot me a PM and we'll work out a good deal for you.

The 3 inch looks sick! I assume it would be a waste on n/a application?

370zForever 01-31-2010 06:40 PM

Hey Rob,

I heard the videos on the exhaust by tooohip and this is the best exhaust for the Z that I have ever heard...I really want one, but I just want to know if you have the weight for this exhaust...As long as it's the same weight or slighly lighter or heavier, I'm good. The exhaust is a bit down on power compared to some exhausts, but it sounds so good...Could you give me the information on the weights???

Rob@Altered 02-01-2010 10:48 AM

The 3" exhaust wouldn't be a waste on a N/A car at all, actually. Of course, it's made for an engine with a higher exhaust output, but you will still see great high end gains with an N/A application.

If you know you're looking to stay N/A, then the 2 1/2" exhaust would be your best bet. With that, you'll consistently see great gains across the rev band as compared to the high end gains from the 3" exhaust.

As far as weight savings, we've never had the chance yet to compare the weight between the stock 370Z Exhaust to our 2 1/2" and 3" Exhaust systems. But, on average, our exhaust systems for other cars are about 10lbs lighter than the stock systems. Now, I know this isn't an exact number, but it's a ballpark figure on the weight savings.

The next opportunity we get, I'll make sure to get the weight measurements on the different exhaust systems.

370zForever 02-01-2010 03:24 PM

Thanks for the info,

I do hope that you are wrong though because I do want the exhaust to be a bit heavier than that because I am trying to maintain weight distribution, but I'll buy it anyway...

Rob@Altered 02-01-2010 03:43 PM

I see what you're saying.

It'll save you a couple lbs, but I'm pretty sure when you install it, the first thing that pops in your head won't be "Oh, my GOD! This weight distribution is totally different!!!"...haha...I'm sure you'll love it.

Feel free to shoot me a PM whenever you're ready to place the order.

370zForever 02-01-2010 05:32 PM

Yeah, you're right and even 10 lbs is not that much since I've relocated the battery and if the exhaust of 370z is similar to the 350z design, which I have seen and it does look similar though some parts seem simpler on the 370z, then it should be very close to OEM weight since the 350z exhaust weighs 57 lbs and the OEM weighs around 56, so it should be close...Anyway, I just like to say again that is a spectacular exhaust and to my taste, the best sounding Z exhaust....I mean combined with the 8,000 RPM redline I have, this thing is gonna sound like a f430!!! Just need to start saving up cause I'm planning to buy AP's Racing Brake Kit too and it's $5,000, so I want to get the money as soon as possible and replace my stillen exhaust...

Rob@Altered 02-02-2010 04:04 PM

Thank you! We've been hearing nothing but good things about our exhaust systems.

Our special pricing won't last forever, so get that money saved up as quick as you can! Whenever you're ready, or if you have any other questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM.

Hey Rob,

I checked out AAM's website for the 3" True Dual exhaust for the 370z. Do you guys still sell it? I only see the 2.5" True Dual exhaust available for the 370z. If available, does it still come with the Titanium tip option?

Shoot me a PM. I also live in Canada.

Cheers!

Mike
