For the guys in the Bavaria region (Graf, Vilseck, Hoenfels, Ansbach) I'm the president of a group called Grafenwoehr Grease Monkeys. You can look it up on Facebook. There's up to date events and other like minded folks.

I will be in Ramstein next month for a two year stint and my car should be coming in June.

Will be heading up to Wiesbaden from Garmisch next week. Lookout for a red z with Fast Intentions exhaust.

I'm heading back to Germany later this year and I can't wait! I used to be stationed in Spangdahlem AB from 2007 to 2011, but I'm headed to Ramstein AB this time around. I still have the 350Z I had back then, but I'm taking my 370Z as well. I'm really looking forward to driving on the Nordschleife once again.

Would a 370Z on ARK GT-S springs pass inspection? Would the car be too low? I remember my 300ZX failed inspection a few years ago because the springs I installed (I forgot what brand) were too low for German standards. My car is currently lowered on Swift springs, but I have a set of ARK GT-S just waiting to be installed. Thanks guys.

I barely passed with eibach springs on my g37. The inspector used a metal cylinder that is the minimum height allowed to check my ground clearance. To give you a little edge maybe fill up the rear tires to max psi, every bit helps. Also if you have tint on your front windows plan on pulling that off on the spot if you want to pass.

ZeNato 11-28-2015 10:56 AM

Yea they didn't say anything about my tint the first time I went but I failed cuz of a park light I didn't know was out, when I came back the new inspector failed my tint. It was a sad day. I'm bout to get some tein coils so if you figure out what the measurement is let me know!

smittyg37 12-03-2015 05:56 AM

This the exact guidance for ride height"Minimum body ground clearance for flexible body parts such as ground-effect spoilers or air dams must be at least 8 cm. Ground clearance for metal parts such as exhaust systems, or frame and suspension components must be at least 11 cm". If you need anything let me know.

The German weather has been getting more and more Z-friendly, and the Nordschleife has been opened for weeks. Anyone interested in a car meet?
