csc just went

Well at 12,100 miles my csc just went. Got in my car to leave for work and the peddle was limp and engaged almost near the floor. As I started driving it wouldn't engage at all. Lucky for me no traffic so I coasted back around the corner and once I could get it to engage a gear I didn't take it out will I got to my driveway. Husband is one the way and since he works at Nissan I told him save me the trouble and bring my rental lol.

LOL, lucky you... Damn you at the same time!!! LOL

Glad you're ok though. CSC failure is a recall Nissan shouldn't take lightly

Don't go back with the OEM replacement. Go for a HD replacement.

Start a class action law suit against Nissan???

Elaborate please so I can tell my husband and he can make it happen. Is it the csc from the gtr or another model?

That won't be covered under warranty and I don't have the cash so I'll have to get it later for the next time this happens

That is true and it will happen again

Even better...

Z1 Clutch Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) Elimination Kit

JENZ 10-14-2014 11:45 AM

Yup I know about that option too. I figure I'll have 10k miles to get one or the other :P

Sorry to hear ms.jenz. :( but sounds good that your hubby works at nissan!

JENZ 10-14-2014 11:53 AM

Yup I called him and was like... Told you it was my csc going. Last month I started having juddering between gears I don't normally have and I am not a newb at stick so I knew something was up. He didn't believe me. I diaged my own car before the actual part failed lmao.
