OEM Fans CFM

I'm Looking to replace them with lower profile ones and want to make sure the new ones I'm getting won't flow less. Anyone know what the CFM rating of the OEM fans it?

A million. Go for a million or better

I doubt anyone has bothered to have them tested

I run spal fans

a good indication of fan cfm when you don't know it is the fan amperage, and the oem fans run A LOT of amperage.

Great info, thanks guy. I had to sell my SPAL fans because they rubbed against the pulleys. Need to go with lower profile ones without sacrificing too much flow. CSF confirmed the dimensions of their new radiator does not change vs OEM.

I think the OEM fans also run at different speeds depending on demand rather than On/Off. Am I correct?

Strange because my gtm radiator plus spal fan is close to the pulley but doesn't hit it. Spal sells a controller you can activate it via an oil temp sensor also, can have it variable speed.

the oem fan driver is what you are after, if you wire the spal fans to the oem wiring they would also be speed controlled but depending on the spal fans you have you may be over the capacity of the oem fan controller. if you wire the oem fans to separate relays they will not be speed controlled.
