Energy Suspension 350z Diff. Bushings In
Was kind of a pain in the *** I'm not going to lie, but it's done and fits the 370z (also confirmed by another member).
Could have used an air chisel but I managed the old fashion way with no power or air tools. https://scontent-a-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/...71507354_n.jpg No excess noise noted and power seems to be going to the ground nicely. |
Omg you could of used a sawzall. A few minutes tops.
glad to see you got it done, yeah air hammer/sheetmetal bit or reciprocating saw are nice, unless you are in an apartment parking lot.
I did use a saw. A few minutes lol you have get the new one in too
any additional vibrations?
Did you replace the hole diff??? also what does the new bushing do?? Sorry noob question I know:ugh2:
the new bushing mount the differential to the subframe more solidly so that it doesn't effect the driveshaft angles, this reduces wheel hop and quickens throttle response because instead of twisting the diff on its mounts the power is delivered to the wheels faster. May increase power just a tiny bit by preventing the axles from binding but probably nothing measurable.
Edit: it is also much more reliable than the factory silicone filled bushing which likes to blow out. |
