Good call Cbtech, although when I put my Stillen one on I just left the rear wheels on the ground. Other than that those are some great tips. Now if I could just get my damn car back from the body shop to install these and my seats...

Holy ****, thanks for taking the bullet and warning us about the dangers of the tire iron method!

It's not necessary to take the front end of your car apart. My install was done with out removing anything from the car (other than the stock pulley and alternator pulley).
Good write up none the less.

you're right you can do it without taking the fans or alternator off but you cannot get an impact in to take the bolt off of the alt without doing so. You can use a strap wrench and a socket to muscle the alternator pulley off.

I love the pulleys, but I bought them from a forum member. It would seem that NST can't keep up with demand for their pulleys. Unlike Fast Intentions, who also has crazy demand, NST chooses to stay silent about the status of their orders. They could learn a thing or two about how to treat customers.

Personally, I would wait until more members are reporting delivery of their pulleys before ordering a set.

Huck 06-29-2014 11:57 AM

I got mine, albeit after like 5 months of waiting. If they can verify that they have a set in stock for you then I say go for it, they're actually good pulleys. But the people that run NST have horrible customer service and do not follow through on their word, so I would be wary of giving them my money again.

i wrote mail to them and they said they have the pulleys in stock, ready to ship. should i trust them?

Up to you man. We had a bad experience, but we did eventually get what we paid for. Just took 5 months.

A lot of drama could have been avoided if they just had a realistic time estimate and communicated with us. It's okay if it takes a long time as long as you let us know up front it will take a long time.

If they say they have them in stock, I'd trust them. I got mine in like 3-4 days

axmea? 06-30-2014 12:24 AM

Go for it.

nismo13807 06-30-2014 03:42 PM

go for it if you want it.. worst thing that can happen is it will take a few months before you get it.. but in the end, you will receive the product.

NonStopTuning 07-02-2014 11:32 AM

All back-orders and/or group buy orders have shipped as of a couple weeks ago, and new inventory of kits is in stock.

Thanks all!

dimitarm 07-07-2014 04:47 PM
