Getting pretty antsy now, it's been 42 days since payment was made. Do you have an actual delivery ETA?

happytheman 03-13-2014 01:06 PM

:iagree:

While we appreciate the pics of the ladies, the pics are not production updates.

ACE_20 03-13-2014 08:29 PM

Update please.

NonStopTuning 03-14-2014 10:59 AM

Believe me, no one wants to see these things on your cars more than I do.

Pulleys are nearing the final stages of production now.
We hope to have product ready by late March, early April.

Please be patient as we work to bring you the best pulleys on the market.

We appreciate your patience and support.

MIKE @ NST

NickD 03-26-2014 07:49 AM

Hey Mike. Can we get another production update please? Looks like we are in that late March to early April time frame. Just curious to see if its still on target or delayed so I can plan around my other mods.

Huck 03-26-2014 09:00 AM

I'm just hoping I can get them installed before Zdayz

Zdayz 2014!!

gbrettin 03-26-2014 08:07 PM

Im about to do a lot of work on my car and would like to get the pulleys on my car at that time. What's the word.

NickD 03-28-2014 10:29 AM

This is the kinda stuff that annoys me. I get the whole "be patient for a quality product" thing, but we paid our money and deserve an update to plan our mods out. Not getting a response or getting updates in the form of a cute girl (which isn't an update) just aggravates me to no end. It's been 2 weeks with no response/update and we are in the "delivery time frame".

Huck 03-28-2014 10:58 AM

Probably gonna be closer to early April lol. I'm not too worried about it, I know I'm gonna get the product, and its gonna be before Zdayz. Other than that I'm not in a rush.

Zdayz 2014!!

gbrettin 03-28-2014 11:10 AM

Don't get too worked up guys. The time schedule is on mark for what they said. However, an actual status update would make me feel a lot better.

That's more of an assumption at this point based on the last status we got. My car is scheduled to go into the shop in the next few days to a week for major work so it would be nice to know when the pulleys are gonna be here so i can schedule everything in.

brucelidat 03-28-2014 01:16 PM

We are beyond the original estimated time. If I was a business, I would quote a longer safer time. Then if I come in under, it's a positive surprise instead of running later than expected.

We are still in the time frame. However, I will be flipping desks and by mid April.

gbrettin 03-28-2014 04:27 PM

... And I still want an update.

brucelidat 03-28-2014 05:18 PM

Their original estimate was 30 days. That was a revised timeline in a later update. I'm not in a rush, just saying.

happytheman 03-28-2014 05:49 PM

 Got all excited when I saw there were new posts on the thread.

Super Werty 03-28-2014 06:06 PM

There are several people on the xru forum who have been waiting since september or longer for their orders. They paid Mike at NST and never got anything from him. He doesnt even respond to emails anymore.

I met Mike a few years ago and he seemed like a nice guy, but something is definetely up. Mike if you read this, you really need to fulfill those orders. You are a good guy, but leaving people hanging like that and taking their money is out of line.

Wasn't this exactly how the last group buy went? Infrequent communications and late orders? Although, everybody seemed happy when it was over, so there's that.

Shadezz 03-29-2014 10:31 AM

I would agree on late orders last time..., but everything came as promised last time just a few months later. Come on Mike get these guys the pulleys they ordered soon so everyone can be satisfied with their purchase from NST.
Latest Review: Put over 8k miles on since NST pulleys were installed and everything is running fine!! Love my NST Pulleys!!

NonStopTuning 03-29-2014 08:36 PM

There is not a single person who wants to see these pulleys on your cars more than me. Not one.
But the process takes a while and building a proper pulley is a process.

Most of us are on the west coast this week and next, for the start of the Formula Drift season, the rest of the team is working on production.

I hope to have an update for you guys during the week.

We certainly do appreciate the patience and support :)

MIKE @ NST

ACE_20 03-30-2014 02:25 PM

Thanks for the order, we appreciate it! Your payment solidifies your place on our 370Z group buy list. Please note, production will require a few weeks and packages are not expected to ship until late February. We will update your account with tracking info ASAP.

This was in my receipt and we are way past the original timeframe.

I understand this, and I have repeatedly asked for and thank you guys for your continued patience and support.

The massive group buy discount this community was offered was for this very reason. You guys have received the largest discount we have ever offered any community, on any item in our catalog, since we started NST in 2005.

Please understand that I can not, and WILL not, send an inferior product to you guys in an effort to rush production and appease certain members impatience. I assume that the entire community will be willing, and will be better off, waiting a bit longer than initially anticipated. Posting negative comments on forums/social media/etc only hurt our ability to get product to you any more quickly.

Again, I appreciate the continued support and patience that many have shown us during this process.

I have no problem with the process taking longer than anticipated in the interest of receiving a quality product, but as a paying customer I do expect REAL updates each week. You responded now and still have not provided any significant update other than you are at Formula Drift. Can you tell us what stage of production you are in at least and when you expect them to ship? Has the estimated time frame pushed out again? SOMETHING!?!?!?!

No one is posting anything negative (and if they posted something that seems negative to you it's because we are having a negative experience with this purchase, but it is all truth being posted)...we just want a production update. No one likes the feeling of paying for something with nothing to show for it. We all are trusting you with our money that we paid quite awhile ago. We arent asking that you send the product tomorrow but we ask for an update today. I'm not sure how negative comments will hurt your ability to get the product here quicker unless you are saying you are going to hold it up intentionally in which case we have bigger issues to deal with here.

P.S. Formula Drift is not an excuse to not provide updates or continue production. One thing has nothing to do with another.

NonStopTuning 04-01-2014 07:09 PM

Please refrain from assumptions and insinuations regarding negative issues that do not exist. They are unprofessional and unnecessary.

We hope to have product ready for quality control (QC) testing sometime towards the end of next week. If all goes well with QC, product will be ready for shipping seven to ten days after.

I continue to ask for your patience and support.

Glad you like your pulleys. Would be nice if more pulley owners would chime in with their reviews.

Best of luck with all your projects

First group buy took a little longer than it was supposed to but my pulleys are perfect I love them!! Color was flawless and no sharp edges and packed very well. I trust NST just hopped on their short shifter GB. For the discount their offering on these GB'a I'm pretty much ready to wait as long as I have to. I'm sure it will be made right for you guys.

I have no clue who or what you are talking about with this comment...If you are referring to my statement then you obviously read it wrong because i didnt make any assumptions or insinuations. Please clarify who you directed your comment at.

P.S. An insinuation would be me saying that you are too busy to give updates but when people post about being annoyed and unhappy with your service you suddenly reappear and post....just saying

:iagree:

Those were some fairly uncalled for and emotional posts coming from a vendor. Especially one who's overshot his estimated date on the group buy already. And the "You guys got a really big discount so STFU about the fact it's taking longer than I said it would" is pretty weak. That discount was given before the deadline was missed.
