A7 Shift Points

How high should the RPMs reach with the A7 before shifting under 3/4 throttle? My 2012 Touring hits at least 7,000 RPMs and I am not at full throttle. I have only owned it two months, so don't know if this is something new or not.

I want to try it under full throttle, but don't want to leave engine pieces all over the road.

Thanks for any replies.

sound about right....
its been a while but yeah, the more you press on the gas pedal ,, the higher RPM the 7AT will shift.
