Rattle noise!!! I heard its normal but please clarify!!

So I just got my 2014 370z (less than 500 miles on it)..installed the invidia cbe, no problems (as far as I knew). Then installed the stillen gen 3 cai. After I noticed a rattle noise. Not sure if it is "just the way they are" like I have read in multiple other threads. Also not sure if I just didn't hear it before I put the cai on never noticed it..I really only hear it when I am at a stop and when I am in first pulling away right when I am engaging the clutch. As I accelerate, it doesn't get louder or anything either. Like I said its a slight rattle noise. I feel like I kinda hear it when I switch gears up to 3rd gear (might be my imagination). Is this normal? I don't think its the intake bc a buddy held down the tubes as I reved it to 3k rpms and still heard it. Help me out guys! I just got this thing!!

Maybe the hole wasn't cut big enough? Possible chance the tube is hitting the air duct hole.

Not a doubt in my mind it's the clutch and it's completely normal.

Yeah as far as the duct holes, I had a buddy hold the intake tubes with his hands and still heard it, so im ruling that out. chuck do all 370s do this? I honestly don't care if it is in fact normal, just want to make sure its the clutch or normal for these cars..i can barely hear it and even with the radio on very low, cant notice a thing. so no biggie, just want piece of mind that is in fact very common and not abnormal. Thanks guys!!

The clutch rattles. Nothing to worry about. The clutch/flywheel/tranny in these make all kinds of noises. God help you if you ever get a lightweight flywheel :rofl2:

Thanks chuck.. you just gave me the piece of mind I needed sir!!! Also just wanted to clarify..this noise is NOT the "cement mixer sound everyone talks about". You weren't refering to that were you?
