Throttle body warmer. .

there was a new update on a diff forum saying for the people down south. where the car will not be in cold weather... there is the throttle body warmer and u can bypass it in order to keep you cold air intake commin in COLD. and also reduce engine heat . this will no boost HP in any big way but will make engine run smoother.. . .

is this true ??

Already did it. Obviously, the changes are tiny. You might save a tiny bit of intake air temp/density post-MAF-sensor, maybe, at certain brief times before the whole area becomes heat-soaked anyways. And get a few extra hoses out of the engine bay. On the other hand it's easy.

My motorcycle has a coolant line that runs through the carb. Strange, since you'd imagine a bike not being ridden in temps where icing would be a problem, but what do I know.

I've though about plugging the lines, but, as wstar posted, it wouldn't make much more in terms of power, but it would save some (minor) weight.

Are there any companies making throttle body spacers for the 370Z?
