Whiteline Diff Bushings Question

So I have search the Whiteline site for these Diff Bushings. Noe Found. So I am guessing people are using the KDT911 Whiteline Rear Diff Mount Bushing Kit for the 350z correct?

thanks

Talk to Alex from Motionlab. They're a vendor on here and sent me the bushings I needed for my diff. I didn't pay attention to the model number but I'm fairly certain the diffs on the 370 and 350 are exactly the same.

the energy suspension ones work too i got mine from z1

The 350z whiteline bushings will fit. I'm pretty sure this is what Z1 is selling as 370z bushings.

the 370z bushings are a little smaller than the 350 bushings.

yep they are all the 350z bushings whether you get the whiteline or the energy suspension, and there is no modification to the bushings necessary . Also when i did the rear diff bushing i made a puller for it but it kept breaking the puller so i got out the sheet metal bit for my air chisel and and put the center tang right between the the outer shell of the bushing and the hole in the subframe and just cut the shell straight through the bushing coming from the transmission side and after it got half way through the bushing it actually folded and pushed it right out. It is OK to destroy the outer steel shell even if you go with energy suspension as those need the INNER steel piece that the nut goes in. Also if your good you can use a pry bar to push the rear bushing into the subframe from the back of the car.

I'm gonna come see you when it is time to do mine. I still have nightmares about doing 2 out of 3 of my S13 Fastbacks. The last one I had (in Europe) already had solid bushings installed.

do you lube up the bushings at all? my energy suspension sway bar bushings needed grease or they squeak like hell lol. i have a tube of their expensive grease (rip off but works). for $50 i may just go energy suspension.

Edit: i'm sure someday i will even get to drive it to feel how awesome it is now

i know dammit what with vacation and being sick and all i haven't gotten to do anything for 2 weeks. finally feeling better now doc says i can go back to work. had a bad throat infection ended up completely losing my voice

Oh and best part about the energy suspension bushings is you get to build yourself a little fire and burn the pos rear bushing after you get it out BURN!

roplusbee 09-02-2013 02:39 AM

Lol, that is how I used to get them out of the 13s rear subframe. Lighter fluid and a torch. It can get interesting pretty quick though, lol.

no well on the z the rear subframe bushing needs to be removed first and then burned so you can re-use the inner piece for the energy suspension bushing
