You are new here so let me be the first to tell you to stay the he'll away from gtm. They robbed well over 100 forum members/370z owners out of an insane amount of money and nobody on this forum will do business with them because of it. I never lost a dollar with them thank God but we think of this group as an extended family (even the few azzholes) so when a shite company like gtm rips our family members off and gets away with it we get pissed and refuse to give those clowns any more money. So if you decide to deal with them thinking that your experience will be different you can't say you haven't been warned

:icon17: I appreciate the welcome. However I'm not as new as I look. I've been reading this forum since 2011 - when I purchased my Z. Matter of fact, I was going to make a thread soon about how awesome everyone on this site has been, DIY guides, pics, builds, pricing, vender deals etc. and of course the occasional trolling - its all brilliant and I learned quite a bit. Might even donate. *The quiet guy spectating in the background*

I'd like to thank everyone that's probably going to read this (most likely a veteran here) hat goes off to you guys + the admins :tiphat:

On a second note, I'm actually quite surprised to hear this about GTM, and I guess I haven't researched their "credibility" enough. Theres people out there, one of my personal friends included that swears by GTM. Believe it or not I was talking to Sam@GTM a few months ago about sending my car over to the west coast so they can install everything I'm purchasing, I was getting ready to drop close to 35Gs on my build and just read this....:ugh:

If you are dropping that type of money into your car you should send it to Tony @ Fast Intentions. Better kit and definitely better customer service. Oh and the positive side is he won't screw you out of your money.

GTM has good products but Sam is a crook. It's a shame because they have a few products they 'used' to make I would love to have on my car.

^^ Thats a no brainer. For now atleast.
I joined the forum after the TT Preorder Fiasco.
But i caught on. I have a friend here who would swear by their kit too.
Great kit. Great products too i guess. GTM was my first preference for getting a 7AT tranny, But nah, Its not worth the risk. The only way i would pay GTM is if i got the product in front of me INSPECTED thoroughly.

TL DR
GTM Makes great products, But I would not give them a penny because of who it is run by.

I certainly was not expecting this. I really do appreciate the heads up, just read the "GTM throughout the years" thread....dear god - is that even real?! Like whattt?! I'm surprised this guy is still alive..after all that. No joke. My issues now pale in comparison to all the guys who never got a product or their money?? Wow. I did spend the last year personally handpicking a list of their products - definite set-back for me. I guess I'll have to take a look over at Fast Intentions.

What did you replace it with? I'm on my second CSF in three years, and I think I have a leak in the second one. It's only been in the car for 7 months - ~3000 miles. Changing radiator is getting old.

Anyone tried this from HPI Japan 50mm core?

RHDJapan : HPI Radiator Evolve & Radiator Rescue Set M/T - Z34 Fairlady Z

rhdjapan.com regularly have 8-10% off deals every week plus $100 discount for newbie's

Cant find much info about it though

They also have a pretty neat oil cooler for Z's albeit a little pricey

Thoughts?

be careful of csf radiators guys, another member on myg37 forums have also reported a failure

Vendor Stillen needs to work on their customer service - MyG37

in the past before the triple pass came out i have seen csf radiator leaking issues here on this forum itself. Ravi @ csf stepped in and posted its an extremely rare occurrence etc etc but all i am seeing on the forums are many ppl whose csf radiators have failed and they got 0 support from csf apart from "goto vendor you purchased it from"
its unfortunate, their radiators do help cars run cooler they just need to fix the leaks and fix their customer support and it will be a 100% solid product

jwick 11-15-2016 09:35 AM

Although CSF has had some leaking issues, it's still the best option if you are looking to upgrade. Also the people I know that have had issues have gotten support from CSF.

Whatever you do don't put Mishimoto crap on your car. If that's the way you are leaning stick with the factory radiator.

Well i just got sponsored for 2017 with CSF. So fingers crossed it works out on all ends both cooling and zero issues.

if you face any issue with the CSF radiator can you post that up here? Or does the sponsorship agreement/terms prohibit you from doing so?

Idk a rep has to call me still to sign an agreement. We'll see soon.

I've had my CSF triple pass for a couple years with zero issues. Twin turbo.
