I would just buy them dude. You are going to have to pay for shipping no matter what you get. These pulleys are the cheapest out so far and they are of a good quality

I wouldn't call that out of line. a Few hours of work. It's easier to remove the alternator pulley with it on a workbench as opposed to being in on the vehicle. Labor is labor, unless you are doing it, sometimes it will cost more than the parts themselves.

I don't think it is too hard to do with basic tools.

DIY isn't hard. I would have felt comfortable doing it but I don't have the tools needed.
