Who makes built long blocks for the 370?

I was on GTM's website and saw they have built long blocks for sale but are they built 350Z blocks? Do any companies out there make built 370Z blocks yet, and if so who? Sorry for the noobish questions I just couldn't find anything on that.

We've built VQ37 shortblocks, and long blocks. It's still fairly rare, becuase the stock VQ37 is pretty stout. But yes we do build them in house. Here is what one looks like. :)

Are you going to be selling then on your website? I know people speak highly of you on the forums and you've done a bunch of 350Z FI set ups, are you going to be offering 370Z TT setups on your website as well eventually?

We've read that this VQ37 block is more stout than the VQ35 but do you have any hp estimates just based on your work? Reliable daily driver horsepower, reliable weekend hp, extreme limit?

nightfire 07-15-2009 09:30 PM

I think they said it's probably 500-550 (estimate) on a stock block for the 370Z

Check out GTM website for their twin turbo FI kit for the 3.7Z/G37. Tuning the new engine seams to be the hold up.

Hey Sharif, how much streetable, daily-driver HP can you make outta VQ37 from the stock bottom end and heads? Turbo or whatevers?

And how much if you go all motor via raising compression, using agressive cams, porting, etc.?
