I dont understand how hitting 0-60 is ok for the car. When i tried to rev mine up like that once it made a clutch burning or some funky hot smell so I stopped doing that. Lol, thanks for all the responses. Oh, & whenever you down shift, say you're in 5th, when you see traffic and want to slow down.. do you go back to 4th, then 3rd, then 2nd? Never really understood that. I just put mine into neutral and then guess around what gear would be good to throw it in according to the speed im in... help?

I do the exact same thing. Neutral and let it slow down then when I need to speed up I just choose the gear and it's all good.
For 0-60 I think you should let go of the clutch completely and not "ride" it otherwise it'll burn. I'm no good at this maybe someone else can explain

How often are you supposed to get your clutch fluid flushed? Thanks for your response.

Once it starts getting a little bit on the dark side. If you drive aggresive you will see some burnt fluid in the resevoir. Normally I flush mine once a month since its a small resevoir.

I downshift in advance......easing the clutch in and out. If you smell clutch then you are operatong the car wrong.

The harder you press your accelerator in the traffic the more you are going to use your brakes and the harder you are on your car. Easing on and off the throttle in traffic and city driving is the best way to operate your car. On the fwy increase your following distance so that you can see brake lights will indicate downshifting from one gear to another. Example...im exiting the fwy. I normally will downshif fro. 6th to 4th. Im on the accelerator doing 75.....I let off the accelerator (not pushing the clutch in) glide out of 6th. Simultaneously I tap the accelerator and push the clutch in to mate with 4th gear to start my deceleration and ease the clutch out.
