Wow. So when you say no codes, does that mean that you checked with a code reader? Did you notice the coolant dots go past half way? Was the oil temp in the 240-260 range? Do you have some suspect wiring going on behind your dash?

There are plenty of things that can send this car into limp mode.

same problem as me, mate: http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...ation-lag.html

Except i have mods and software tweaks but if it's happening to you when you were stock then that just makes it more bizarre. It happened last night so i went straight home to pick up my laptop and uprev cable to datalog. It took effort to not stall the motor because it was bogging so badly. But stalling would've reset the issue.

Anyway, from the logs i notice the intake cams are locked at 0 degrees in the troublesome rev range. Compared to logs done recently, the cams should not be at 0 degrees under similar conditions.

I got no CEL or any error codes either. My scanguage detected no pending codes so from the ECU's perspective, everything is in check. No sensors chucking a wonky reading. It's as if the ECU is demanding the power restriction. But whyyyyyyyyyy!?!?!

It's been happening to mine as well. It's annoying. Not sure if there is anything I can do to fix it.

Why are you guys not mentioning the oil temp when this happens?

juld0zer 06-12-2014 12:07 AM

my oil temp was no more than 92*c and coolant temp max 95. i'll post the logs up tonight for some of the brains here to analyse

let me guess, it goes into safe map on the uprev ? Dont know what would trigger that. Knock maybe ?

safe map?
