I hear ya, that's why I'm looking to see what mods they're up to, just found the torque curve to be funky. Guess I'm spoiled from only seeing our 370Z curves, like the ones below.

Not that it would make too much difference, but comparing the Genesis on the same dyno as a VQ37VHR would be a little more fair to make sure the problem wasn't with the dyno.

Looks much better in that comparison, in fact, for a minute I thought the genesis torque line was the G37's.

I wonder what throttle response is like under 3k with the Genesis, and I wonder if the conservative response with our VQ37 is because of MPG reasons (besides shredding tires).
